We Go...

We go...

This is an expression I've heard only in Europe and I interpret it to mean "Let's go," "It's time to go," "We're leaving" or something like that. Europeans say it in a very clipped manner, combining the two words to one, "wego," and it's one of my favorite expressions because Tom and I are always ready to "go" somewhere.

Tonight, we go to Europe, to join a group for a Rick Steves tour of Germany, Austria and Switzerland (GAS). We are flying from Houston to Frankfurt then taking a train down to Trier, Germany, near the Luxembourg border. We're arriving a day early so our bodies can begin to adjust to the time change which will be a challenge since they are already adjusting to our return from Hawaii this past Monday.

We are so excited about the itinerary for this 14-day trip which, besides Trier, includes sightseeing and hiking in Murren, Switzerland and the Lauterbrunnen Valley area, Baden Baden, Munich, Salzburg, Hallstatt and Vienna.

So, now, we go...
