Lindau Walkabout

We reluctantly left the lovely little town of Murren and the Swiss Alps this morning and drove towards Munich, passing by Lucerne and Zurich on the way. We also drove through four countries during our journey: Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria then Germany.

We stopped at the tiny island of Lindau, Germany on Lake Constantine for a two hour lunch and free time. The island was crowded with German vacationers but was a nice place to stop. The most prominent buildings in this city are the Catholic Church and Protestant Church, right next to each other, and the old Town Hall which is now a library. The frescoes on the building are stunning. We had lunch at a cafe on the waterfront. YOLO!!
