Daytime Walkabouts in Pattaya

While our guys were working, Darlene and I explored the streets and shopping areas of Pattaya. Next to our elephant-riding excursion, our favorite experience was our visit to a Fish Spa for a foot therapy session. Basically, you stick your feet in a huge fish tank and the fish attack your feet and shins, eating all the dead skin off.

The initial sensation is shocking...a combination of tickling and electrical static. We couldn't help but giggle the whole 15 minutes of the session. When we were finished, we were amazed at how soft our feet were...for only $3.00! You may have read about this in the US last year...some entrepreneurs opened up Fish Spas, only to be shut down by the FDA or some government agency as unsanitary. Not so, in our opinion! I'd do it regularly if I had the opportunity.

Here are some Pattaya street and beach scenes...

And some photos from our hotel...it has a really pretty infinity pool.

YOLO!!!
